The Animation Student Collective and Illustration Student Collective had their annual Secret Santa Exchange for Christmas! This year I got to draw the Robed Figure from Journey for Emmett Shearer. It was a lot of fun and I've always been meaning to draw some Journey fanart ever since I played the game last year, so it worked out great!

And these are some initial sketches I did to get a feel for the character and composition. I did these sketches and the lineart for the final piece in Photoshop on a cintiq in the labs, but finished it off with the colors and finishing touches in Sai on my personal tablet on my laptop.
