Cold Springs Sketches

I re-read the Cold Springs Eventure that I did right before I left for camp, and I decided to do some sketches based on things that happened during that Eventure.

Amelia cheers up after her friends remind her that none of them made it to college, so her being a college drop-out isn't all that bad.

Kali attacks her friend Piko when she thinks he's an illusion, so he tries to bring her back to her senses.

Gamble Rumble

These were some sketches I drew before and after my Las Vegas trip!

Gair likes playing Poker, so I decided to doodle him with a bunch of Poker chips. Even though I didn't really gamble while I was there.

Squidwik and Grenna are preparing for Mokla by celebrating the Wall of Weird.

First Digital Drawings in Awhile!

As soon as I got back home, I drew some quick digital sketches, because I've missed drawing digitally. I'm excited to draw a bunch more now that I'm back!

I'm back from camp and part one of my vacation, which means I get to use my cintiq at long last! I gotta get used to drawing digitally again, but it feels so good.

Me and my brother were working on a project that involved film strips and we kept on calling them filmies. So here's Gostream with the filmies.

Summer Commission

I didn't get a whole lot of time at all to draw digitally this summer, but I had enough time to make one commission! One of my Assistant Directors this summer commissioned me to draw all of us who were in the Breer building at Stanford one week, in the style of Demon Days by the Gorillaz.

Las Vegas Life Drawings

While I was on vacation in Las Vegas, I managed to get a bit of time to sketch people. It was a fun trip with lots of good food and good company!

Sketchbook Drawings from Kentucky Trip

While I was visiting Jinny in Kentucky, we spent a lot of time drawing together, so these are all of the sketchbook drawings from that trip!

Kentucky Life Drawings

When camp was finished, I flew straight to Kentucky to visit my best friend Jinny! I vacationed there for about a week and a half, so we got lots of rest, good food, and company. These are some life drawings that I did during the trip.

Camp Sketchbook Stuff

I'm back from my vacations so that means it's time for daily updates! I still have a bit of catching up to do on posting art from over the summer, so that will be the next few posts. And from there it will start to gradually become more recent stuff.

But these drawings in today's post are sketchbook drawings that I did over the summer at camp! I didn't get a whole lot of free time to doodle my own stuff, but most of these are from weekends or nights off.

Back from Camp!

For those of you that did not know, I was working in Stanford, CA this summer, teaching at iD Tech Camps. Stanford is iD Tech's largest location, so being a Lead Instructor there kept me suuuuuper busy! Busier than usual. The summer had its ups and downs, but I've come to the conclusion that I won't be coming back to the Stanford Tech Camp. I'm still trying to decide which location I'll be heading to for next summer, but that relies on a whole bunch of factors that I'm not going to get into.

As usual at camp, I don't have a whole lot of free time to draw. But when I got the opportunities to, I grabbed that sketchbook and doodled as much as I could. Whenever I got a weekend off, or even downtime during the week, I was able to do some life drawings, so that's what I'm going to be posting here today.

I'll be talking about some other various things that have been going on in my life over the next few blog posts, but starting today, I'll be going on vacation with some coworkers to Las Vegas, so you won't see any blog posts from me until next week. Although, as always, my Instagram will have daily posts (or as often as I can).
