Old Forgotten Posts of 7 Years: Part 4

This is the final post of catching up on old forgotten blog posts! These are mostly from 2020, but there is one from later that I'm sneaking in here. I'm writing this in 2025, but posting as if it was posted in 2020.

Various Drawings for CUPdates (February 16, 2024)

Some of these at the end are art and things I meant to post a couple of years ago. I wrote PS Chat Eventure and was reading more Eventures. After re-reading You-Know-Who's Reign Eventure, I drew The Gek with his tentacles being web-like.

I also drew more NADs like Gina.

Also Yoshima.

And Filemon!

I drew a few Digital Sketchbook drawings. December was pretty minimal though.

Jinny and I decided to make a Guess Who game with our characters, so we made a template and printed out the prototype to test!

I also continued the Mr Marcus World Event. These were photos with Nays drawn in them (Doge and Larry).

And lastly, (not pictured), I did a test in Smack Studio. I started with using the Allen Walker sprite from JUS, and then was planning to do some with my own drawings. I didn't get that far on this, but hoping to come back to it!

Nay Attacks: Part 1 (February 19, 2020)

I've been working on how The Nays use their Marks to fight, and I think I'm finally getting somewhere.

Here's a drawing I did of Rammako using his with a sword attack! He mostly uses this for defense, but also occasionally to attack when he needs to.

Pigger uses a whip mixed with claw weapon where he can control its direction and speed. I got the inspiration for this panel from Renji’s attack in Bleach.
Pubby has the ability to disappear for a few seconds to use this time for sneaking around and evading enemies. I was inspired by the after image strike attack from Dragon Ball/Z.

Jibu can bring cards to life and use them as a barrier or means of attacking with his Mark's abilities. I was inspired by Yugi-Oh for this drawing.

Scott uses destructive powers of blowing up and attacking with his blood. I referenced Sasuke from Naruto for this drawing.

Larry can make his Mark glow and shoot up a beam of light, which serves as an S.O.S. in times of need. I tried to take some inspiration from Sakura in Naruto and Orihime in Bleach.

Gair can use earth powers to build walls or break the ground in order to protect himself or fight against his enemies. For inspiration on this one, I looked at Gaara (Naruto), Todoroki (My Hero Academia), and Ed (Fullmetal Alchemist) for different ways that elemental walls are portrayed.

Zandra uses her legs to maneuver around quickly and can use them to float around like a feather. I was inspired by Lenalee from D.Gray-man for this drawing.

Recent Sketchbook Doodles (February 19, 2020)

I haven't been keeping up on scanning in my sketchbook drawings as regularly, but here are a few I've done over the past few months!

Paper People Nay Event (February 19, 2020)

This was a Nay event I did awhile ago where I drew a bunch of paper people and made scenes out of them.

Nay Moments (February 13, 2020)

I've been watching My Hero Academia lately and it's kind of reminding me of The Nays in a way, at least in terms of character interactions and moments. So it inspired me to draw some moments from the Battle Vs. Ginko Eventure!

First NADs of 2020 (January 25, 2020)

Here are the first Nay-A-Day drawings that I did in 2020.

Requiem is a disheveled young man who isn't really much of a leader. He sticks with his tight-knit group of Hannah and Xitrev and barely strays to meet and make friends with outsiders. He's usually a better listener and follower, which is why he works well as a bartender. Though he's usually rather serious, he does have moments where he'll throw bananas at his customers if they're causing him trouble. Requiem meets an unfortunate end after his battle with Zumoi, in an attempt to get revenge for his friend Xitrev.

Pixel Art (February 5, 2020)

My friends were talking about old animated forum avatars, so I made one of Pubby.

OC Art Trades (January 21, 2020)

It's been almost 2 years since I did my last art trade, but this year I think I'm gonna try to do more of these because they're always a lot of fun.

This is one that I did for someone over on deviantART.

Fanart (January 16, 2020)

Can't wait to play DBZ Kakarot tonight! I've clocked at least 80 hours on Xenoverse 2, so I think it's time to move onto the next DBZ game.

Old Forgotten Posts of 7 Years: Part 1

So I was looking through my Blogger drafts and realized there were a lot of blog posts I started, but never actually published. This goes as far back as February 2018! So I decided to shed light on some of those old drafts that never got published so I could clean out my drafts. Be ready for some old content that could be up to 7 years old! I'm breaking this out into a few posts so it can be by year essentially.

I made this post live in 2025, but I set its publish date back in 2019 for authenticity.

More Character Interactions! (January 8, 2019)

I've been enjoying drawing multiple characters interacting recently.

So this was what happened with Lonny and Topaz while they were playing video games in Shelter 128.

Nay Collabs (January 7, 2019)

I did a few collabs with my brother, where we drew our characters wearing clothes fitting for the background environments.

The first finished one was in a snowy environment!

Various Sketchbook Doodles (October 13, 2018)

Sketchbook drawings that I never uploaded here!

Inspirational Music Mania Drawings (September 14, 2018)

It's been awhile since I've just sat and listened to music for a long time while sketching.

One of the best ways to motivate me is to listen to inspirational music while sketching my characters.

So I blasted some of my favorite songs and just sketched my characters for an hour.

Pokemon Drawings (September 13, 2018)

I was gone for a few months, and when I come back, my parents are able to name off a bunch of the Pokemon that they know from Pokemon Go.

So I sketched the next one in my on-going draw every Pokemon project!

Here's a quick Togepi drawing!

Lists, lists, lists! (September 11, 2018)

I LOVE making lists of games I've played and ranking them in excel, but I decided to create a more visual version of one of those that I could share. This was really fun, so I'd love to do more of these in the future (and add to it whenever I play new games).

These are all of the games that I've played from 2016!

Comic (June 5, 2018)

Here's another comic page! I drew that first panel awhile ago back when I was still doing strips instead of pages, but I went ahead and drew the whole page now. Last time I worked on the comic, I also roughed out the whole first chapter, so it was much easier to draw this page with a layout already in place. And Zandra and JrTr have finally been officially introduced as of this page!

Art Trades (May 3, 2018)

Recent art trades I've done with other people!

It's been 3 years since I did an art trade, so I decided to change that and participate in one over on deviantART! This is DoodlerBee's OC, Raven. You can read up more on their character here.

Nays Clothes Chambers (April 9, 2018)

This was a fun project that was based on an old one. We would pair The Nays up randomly and they had to draw themselves wearing the clothes of another Nay. I also used a brush that had more of a traditional feel to it, since we used to always do this original project on paper.

This was round 1 of the first four!

Yu Yugi Chan King Z - Continued! (March 11, 2018)

Recently I decided to continue the Revival of Yu Yugi Chan King Z project, so I did some more drawings!

So this was part of the Revival of Yu Yugi Chan King Z project that we started with The Nays a few months back. For this activity, Rabiah had to join an IRC server and ask for a request/pose that Satsuto would be in (since he was the character assigned from Scott). Shout out to the people of #BDI*OOC on DarkMyst for coming up with this idea to have him washing dishes with an apron on over his ninja gear! This was a fun little activity and went a lot more smoothly than I was expecting!

Pixel Art (February 7, 2018)

I decided to do some quick little pixel art drawings of my characters since I've been working in GameMaker recently.

A run cycle of Piko.

Conclusion

And that's it for now! I have even more old posts to show, so that'll be for next time. I hope you enjoyed seeing these lost posts that never became public until now. Stay tuned for the next post!

Recent Gift Art

Here are some recent drawings I've done for my friends for their birthdays!

I drew my friend Hillary's character, Selene, for her birthday in mid-April. I thought her design was really cool and she drew her during Huevember this last year.

This one was for my friend Laura since her birthday was early May. This is her character, Gray.

Drawing for a Friend

This is my part for an art trade that I did with Jinny Hinkle! Check out her characters and art, too. :)

Art Trades!

A few pieces I got around to doing that didn't involve my characters.

An Art Trade that I did for an artist on deviantART!

Another Art trade I did for someone on deviantART.

And this is a little fanart piece (not an art trade, but different from what I usually post). I ended up beating Paper Mario 2 last week (since I never got around to finishing it 11 years ago). Weird coincidence that I literally just started playing it the day before the 11 year anniversary of it first coming out (also the day that I drew this)! Crazy that it's been so long, since it was the last really good Mario game I played. But anyway, Vivian was my favorite partner and I'm just about to get her in my game! Also I decided to try a lineless approach on this one. It was interesting, but I still enjoy lineart too much to do this very often.
