New Clothes for The Nays

I was thinking about what clothes demons would wear other than their uniforms.

I made some new clothing designs for Akuma!

These clothes are pretty similar to Snull's old clothes, but she also doesn't seem like she'd want to change it up very often. I'm thinking this could be how she looks after the Death Finale Eventure.

Amelia's Fancy Clothes

There are some points in my story that I have planned where Amelia dresses up, so I wanted to take some time to design what her clothes might look like when she does this.

At first, I was thinking she might just wear the same clothes for both occasions, but I liked how both of these designs came out, so she's gonna switch it up! I did this kind of in a similar style to The Nays Clothes Project, but only with these two. I'm sure she gets tons of other outfits throughout the series, but I just wanted to focus on these two for now.

I also did some other concepts at first (not finished coloring), but I decided not to go with these ones.

Worlds Progression Project Continued!

Here's a continuation of an old project I started a year ago from tomorrow!

I didn't entirely finish up the Cipo Eventure clothes, but I got about halfway through. I ended up reusing some of the old clothes designs since I liked how they came out and wanted him to wear them again. I also had a lot of fun designing new clothes! I'm getting so close to the times when he had his PS World clothes that I always draw him in, so he'll probably have a bunch of variations on that one once they're in PS World for longer.

Here's part two that I just finished.

And then this was the one I did last year.

Clove's Costumes

Another one for the clothes changing project! It's been like a year or two since I continued this project.

So this one is for Clove!

The only ones I've actually drawn before now were from the Clove Retrieval, Land of the Clouds, and Blizzard. And then I've drawn variations of Ducklin and Hillside Manor in the past. But these were really fun to make up. At first she is a lot more like childish and then once she meets Sarah, she starts to look up to her and takes on her black clothes/nets clothing style, thinking it's really cool. Then she gradually gets closer to JrTr and her clothes are more casual and relaxed. I definitely had to keep her green color palette all the way through, even if it isn't exactly apparent in the black clothed time. This was really fun to do, I love making up costumes that I've never drawn for my characters!

Gair's Clothes Progression

A new project!! So I had my old project of The Nays Clothes project where I would draw a few different costumes that The Nays wore throughout the series. Well this time I counted out how many days Gair is present in The Nays total, and am drawing a different outfit for each of those days. To the current Eventure (Trekkon's Revenge), Gair has been there for 263 days. Soooooo there is going to be a lot of drawings.

Since there are so many, I'm gonna be uploading these in parts when I finish drawing a large group (this case was 20 total). So for part one, I drew up until Eventure 008: End of The Gek. I tried to split them up mostly by Eventure, but some Eventures would only have one outfit, so I mixed them a bit. But you can read the subtitles to figure out which part of the story he wore those clothes in.

And for the most part, I wanted to keep Gair's color scheme throughout his outfits. Orange, black, and blue are his three main colors. There is some green and white thrown in here and there, but you will rarely see red, purple, or yellow. Also some of his outfits look similar to others, but who actually has 200+ outfits in real life? So he will mix and match certain parts to form new outfits. And of course this is a time in his life where he's growing, so he will outgrow clothes and need new outfits anyway.

I didn't want this to be an age progression, I wanted it to focus on the costumes instead. So even though he is getting older, I am using the same drawing for all of these just to make the focus more clear. Although, I am drawing new hair each time (at least once per Eventure).

So look forward to more of these in the future!

Zandra's Design

I've been working on Zandra's design a lot and figuring out her different costumes throughout the series.

I decided to revisit an old project that I've been working on, on-and-off. I now officially have more recent drawings of my six main characters' full costume changes, plus I'm moving on and making up some alternate costumes for some of my other characters in the process.

I originally designed Zandra's costumes back in 2012, but they were really rushed and underdeveloped, so I decided to redraw them all. And in the process, I completely redesigned the first half and even added an extra one.

I wanted to try out something new, so I did this little piece. Since I recently re-designed Zandra's costumes, I decided to draw her during her Tag World times. I played around with a lot of different brushes to create a worn paper texture.

Developing Gair

Trying to focus more on my main characters in terms of deeper development, and less on all of my characters as a whole. This will help me stay a little more focused and make these ones successful before moving on to a larger number of characters. So I'm starting with my main protagonist, Gair!

Here are some expression studies I did. I plan on either cleaning up some of these, or drawing some completely new ones sometime in the near future. A little reminiscent of an old project from last year(Wow his design has already improved a lot since then, I'm happy)

Redid the clothes references for Gair, since my previous version was a few years old.

Character Development!

Been doing some character drawings for fun when I get the time to. Some of these projects have been attempts to develop my existing character designs a little more.

It's been awhile since I made a finished drawing for myself (other than daily characters), so I put this together. I was testing out some new techniques in this and trying to make it a little more shape-oriented than my usual stuff; using more straight lines, unifying the colors better, etc.

Part of a project that I haven't worked on in awhile. I'm basically drawing my characters in a bunch of different costumes to show how they've changed over time. Grenna is actually one of the characters that I've drawn the least, even though he's in one of the six main. Since Grenna is a lot more proper and serious, I made sure to give him more formal and ornate attire. Also since he was one of the strongest in the beginning, he also wears a lot of armor and protective equipment.

Another part of the above project. This one's one of my main characters, Ralphie! I haven't drawn many different costumes for him until now, so it was fun to pick some clothes for him that fit with his personality, especially for the corresponding moments in the story.

Also did  this little marker doodle of Gojo for fun.
