Recent Fanart!

I've been drawing some more fanart recently!

Been watching E3 and so far the biggest news for me has been Jump Force! Keeping my hopes up that it'll be closer to JUS quality instead of J-Stars; I trust Bandai Namco.

So once upon a time in 2011, I started a collaboration project for my Hunter x Hunter group on deviantART. 6 years later, I finally had time to put it together and so I drew Gon and Killua since they were missing from the group!

Some Fanart!

So here's some fanart I've drawn recently.

Ray: "Naruto and Oxenfree. They have the same amount of syllables."

Me: "No they don't. Oh wait."

My friend Ray and I were talking and this came into conversation. Alex is gonna be the next hocage. Also I just beat Oxenfree for the first time since the new content came out! I liked this ending a lot better, too.

I haven't drawn Pokemon in awhile! Continuing that Pokemon of the Day activity.

Experimenting with Style

I've been drawing my character Zandra in a bunch of different styles. It's a fun exercise that helps push me outside of my comfort zone.

Digital Painting Practice!

So now I've been trying to do a lot more drawing than just my daily characters. I'm not going to post every single thing I do, since a lot of it is just practice and gestures, but these are some of the more finished things I did this week.

I haven't done digital painting in awhile, so I decided to do a little test.

And since I've been watching Naruto again recently, I drew this little piece of fanart.

Enjoying the Nice Weather

Well Spring weather is here and I have had the chance to enjoy it this week, since I'm not cooped up inside working on homework. Although, that didn't keep me from working inside at night.

Decided to do some fanart of my favorite character from Naruto: the fourth hokage! I really need to catch up on it this summer.

And continuing with my Pokemon A Day challenge!

This is an idea for how Effside might look.

A quick study I did to play with limited lighting.

And a little drawing of Flareon that I did for fun. This is based off of Twitch Plays Pokemon.

Since it was nice outside, I went out and sketched on the quad earlier in the week.

It's Been Awhile

Well so much for updating more than once a week, I haven't updated since last Sunday! So much crazy stuff has been going on that I just haven't gotten around to updating recently. But I've still been drawing amongst all this so this'll be a kind of bigger update, I guess.

"BubbleMan's Sorrow"

This is a drawing I did as an improvement meme. I redrew an old drawing I did back in 2010, but incorporated my new style, drawing skills, and improved the overall composition. This is Bubbleman from Mega Man 2; this piece was inspired by Hyadain's Bubbleman remix that can be found on Youtube.

A commission I did for my friend, Emma. This is her character, Determined Painter.

I was trying to experiment with different expressions by doing the expression challenge on DA. I probably shouldn't have crammed them all on one page, but this was just practice so it's nothing all that great.

These are some more character sketches for the game I was planning on working on, Slanktin Fighters. I haven't been doing as many as I thought I would, but I'll have them all done hopefully by the end of the summer.

Mecha Practice

So recently I've been drawing a lot of mechas to get practice. Since that's one of my weakest points, I'm trying to improve so I can actually draw them. ^^; I've been getting inspired by having Gundam Wing on in the background every night while I sketch. Plus I've been looking to Mega Man and Live A Live a little bit for inspiration on this as well.

Some more practice with mechas, but this time it's an actual finished fully colored digital piece. I've been meaning to do some Live A Live fanart for awhile, but I never got around to it until now. I also was experimenting with different brushes to create different textures. That shows the most on Buriki Daioh. In actuality, Akira should be a bit smaller, but I wanted him to be visible in the picture instead of showing his real size in comparison to Buriki Daioh.

Just wanted to do some fanart that wasn't all completely mechas. I mean Cube from Live A Live did sneak in there, but he's more of just a little robot. Then I've got Minato and Kushina from Shippuuden and then there's Trowa and Heero from Gundam Wing.

I decided to draw my six main characters of The Nays in a line to compare heights from the beginning. So this is Gair, Pubby, Ralphie, Zandra, Scott, and Grenna.
