Recent Digicembers

I spent more time on these ones, but I still managed to stay fairly loose, which is good!

21. Scroll & Kominushu

Kominushu prefers resolving issues peacefully, while Scroll uses his fists. These two have never really talked, but this is probably how their conversation would go.

22. Spicco & Coyote

Spicco and Coyote used to be good friends because they both were friends through Topaz. They're both weird in their own ways.

Final Fantasy X Sketches

It's been 10 years since I originally beat Final Fantasy X, so I bought the remastered version on PC and have been playing through that for the past week or so. Last night I beat it, and I can say that I honestly enjoyed this playthrough even more than I did originally 10 years ago. It ended up being way better than I remembered, and I think since I'm older I understand a lot of the themes and just what happened a lot more. So I went ahead and sketched the main cast!

First Winter Post!

It's now officially winter, so here are some more sketches from Digicember!

19. Gostream & Vhan

Vhan's very self-centered so she thinks she has the right to steal Gostream's sunglasses. He's not used to people trying to walk all over him because he's a celebrity.

20. Urom & Grenna

Urom has had a recent obsession with Grenna, so she made a game centered around him (it was a remake of an old game that he made). He's kind of indifferent towards her and feels awkward when she places him in the center of attention, since they're not really friends.

Digital Experiments

I decided to do some quick doodles to try and loosen up a bit.

So I downloaded the trial version of Clip Studio Paint since I had heard good things about it and it's got some pretty cool tools. The brush tools are a lot more blendy than Photoshop, which can be a nice change in pace sometimes. It also has some cool manga-esc effects that are built-in, so I played around with those for the snowy effect in this. Too bad you can't save files out of it so I lost all of my layers for this drawing, but I did manage to print screen it so I preserved the flat drawing at least.

I doodled Ralphie using these useful hat drawing tips. This only took like 8 minutes at most.

Sketchier Digicembers

More Digicembers! These ones came out a little looser, which is good.

Arianna & Manny

Arianna was there when Manny was first introduced, so she is one of the few Nays that he actually knows and actively interacts with. Arianna even ended up being on his team for the World Leader Exam. But she's always nervous, so she isn't as enthusiastic as he is.

18. Amelia & Yaro

These two have never met, but Yaro would probably be confused why Amelia's so obsessed with taking selfies. And naturally she would take one with Yaro after they meet.

New Character: Zephys

Yesterday I wrote the Sil Eventure that I planned out awhile back. And so I decided to design the new character that I created for this eventure. This time I spent a bit more time on the NAD, and actually had some hairstyle variation ideas.

Zephys is a World Official of Sil, who is interested in time travel, even though it is banned in Sil. She hopes to travel in time before anyone else in Sil, in order to learn new information that can help benefit the World as a whole. She is very powerful and has access to all of the SCU data, making it easier to spy on citizens of Sil. Zephys is very secretive with her work, and she has a very intimidating front, so other Officials do not question what she does in secret, especially in relation to time travel.

These were some hairstyle variations I had. Very tough choice, but I think I chose the one that fits her personality the best.

More Digicember Sketches

I've been spending too much time on these, even though I don't have a whole lot of time. So maybe I'll tone back a bit, since the initial plan was to make these quicker.

15. Trekkon & Ted

Both of them may have never talked, but they're mutual friends because of Gair. They both like some type of video games, so Ted's probably playing Animal Crossing on his DS in this drawing.

16. Kai & Topaz

Both of them are kinda weird, and pretty talkative, so they'd probably talk to each other. In this Topaz is probably saying something like "Whoa, let's go over there, Kai!”
