Drawing for Entertainment Design Final
I finally finished Drawing for Entertainment Design, which was definitely the most work-intensive class of the semester. And probably ever, actually. But it was definitely one of the most beneficial classes I have ever taken, since it really helped create a portfolio.

Screenwriting Pitch!
This was my final for Advanced Screenwriting. We had to pitch our stories, so these were the slides I included, while explaining a lot more in-depth. I need to really go back and change the ending especially and some other parts in the story, but it came out to be 83 pages total for the entire screenplay.

Exaggeration!
Today was the last day of portrait drawing, which is sad to think about, since it was definitely one of my favorite classes I have had so far. But today we spent the day drawing our classmates with exaggeration!
Here are the exaggerated portraits.
And this is a drawing from last week. It was a two session drawing with two models.
Portrait Drawing Final
So this week I turned in my Portrait Drawing final. Below you can see the process I went through to create it.
The final piece
First I took some reference photos, and this was the one that I decided to go with. I also turned it to grayscale on the right so that I could better see the values. Thanks so much to my good friends, Emma, Jinny, and Hillary for posing for me.
Then I did some thumbnail sketches of the different composition ideas. I decided to go with the last one.
And the final product again!

Secret Santa Project!
The Animation Student Collective and Illustration Student Collective had their annual Secret Santa Exchange for Christmas! This year I got to draw the Robed Figure from Journey for Emmett Shearer. It was a lot of fun and I've always been meaning to draw some Journey fanart ever since I played the game last year, so it worked out great!
Here's the final outcome!
And these are some initial sketches I did to get a feel for the character and composition. I did these sketches and the lineart for the final piece in Photoshop on a cintiq in the labs, but finished it off with the colors and finishing touches in Sai on my personal tablet on my laptop.

Animation: Nearing the End
My Animation III final is due a week from today, so I've been working a lot on the clean-up animation for it this week. So be prepared for a bunch of finalized work in my blog posts next week!

Cleaning up Animation
So I finally reached the clean-up stage for my Animation III final. I completed Scene 4 so that I could get a feel of what my finished scenes are going to look like. It's split up into two parts because I was having some difficulties getting the second part to work when in the same file as the first half. Playing around with the particle modules was pretty difficult to understand, but once I learned it, it ended up being quite useful. I still need to go back and fix some things up in this scene once I finish the whole short, but here it is for now!
