David & Meushi

I spent more time on these characters!

David is a very angry man who has lots of money. He was always very demanding and controlling, but once his wife is killed by a stove being thrown on top of her, he becomes even angrier and vengeful. David travels to The Worlds after that incident, and ends up trying to go back in time to bring back his wife. He finds himself in Hide & Seek World, and lives in a mansion on his own there, awaiting the one day that he will be able to travel back in time to get his wife back.

Meushi is a very powerful R Nay who studies ancient Tag World technology. Though she is one of the R Nays, she isn't seen around them very much, because she works better on her own. She founded The Bucko Museum of Tag World Heritage in Slumber Falls Village, but dreams to create an even larger museum that will far surpass that. Meushi lives out in the Western Sparrow Mountains in Tag World, since that is where a lot of ancient Tag World inventions are kept. She hopes to one day build an entire museum around this historical site, to both preserve the ancient relics, as well as share them with everyone in The Worlds.

While I continue to replay FF8, I continue to draw more and more fanart of it, haha.

Another quick FF8 fanart. I'm about halfway done (or maybe more?) with disc 2 in my replaying of FF8, and I came across this quote. Squall is starting to catch on. His friends can't hide it anymore.

Mokosh & Leequi

These two were originally made up by my brother, but I helped with the redesigning process.

Mokosh is a stealthy member of the Torpedo Four, who can turn her skin into a water-like substance. She is very confident about her role in the Torpedo Four, and will not hesitate to take charge when needed. She and the other members perform the New Colonist Welcoming Ceremony in Inferno Colony #3 every year.

Leequi is an older member of the CrY family who is very confident in his leadership position. He works closely with Mr Q in leading the family and taking charge of the plans. Leequi is very vengeful and doesn't appreciate being taken advantage of. He will be happy to fight enemies of the family and will not risk any of them being lost. Leequi believes because of his old age, he is much wiser and more experienced than the other members of the family, so he often looks down to them.

I haven't drawn in my sketchbook all that much recently, but when I went to Sumo Boy last week, I had the chance to do some doodles.

Emmerson & Adiest

Both of these characters were introduced during the Preliminary World Leader Exam.

Emmerson is a hasty member of the Dusty Dimes who acts upon instinct. He doesn't often think things through and often gets into trouble because of it. Emmerson's favorite snack is sour cream and cheddar chips, and he can't pass up an opportunity to munch on them. He tried to rob a gas station between South 18th Street and Raldo Lane, and entered into a shootout with an off-duty police officer because of his hasty decisions. Emmerson usually is scolded by Lonny because of this, but he respects his decisions, even if it means working night shifts whenever he gets into trouble.

Adiest is a very cautious boy from Frank Lady World who is jealous of his old colleague Kali. Since Kali became a Nay and was on the same team as him, he resents her and hates all demons because of it. Adiest is very bitter and gets extremely angry when things don't go his way. He doesn't trust Kali because she never talked to the group since then, so he believes that she looks down to them, not being Nays like her. Adiest makes lots of assumptions about others and believes that he knows what people are thinking.

FF8 Drawings!

So I started my FF8 save file back up last night, which means, more composition studies! And I did some doodles too.

I drew lots from in Balamb Garden, but also a few others until the very first shot you see of Squall and the team on their way to Dollet. I think I spent a bit more time with these ones than I did with my previous ones. But the perspective on a few of these was tough to get.

Oblo & Screwdriver

Daily Characters!

Oblo is the moderator of the PS Chat, a popular hangout lounging area in Party Sanctuary World. He is usually very chill and relaxed, and welcomes new members. Oblo is very polite and organized, so he works as a great leader.

Screwdriver is a follower among Sally Bullrider's Sandstorm group. He is listened to his brother Cody's orders, and is one of the Hairy Buffalos. Screwdriver is very friendly, but secretive and never reveals his eyes.
