Detective Ragger

So I finally finished my first prototype scene in my game! I had some video troubles, so I am unable to upload it for the time being, but I did manage to present it in class. In the meantime, you can check out my Production Packet for the Prologue section of my game (which will most likely be what is playable in the Demo, expected for May 2015).

Gair Saku

Came to a conclusion on a (somewhat) final design for Gair, finally. There are still some things I want to tweak about his design, but I was kind of cornered into a situation where time was running out and I had no choice but to choose one that I had already drawn.

The final boards!

These were some more sketches I did before deciding the final design.

Animal Caricature Project

This was a small project I did for Character Design, before my actual final was due.

This was an animal caricature project I did for class. This is Ian McKellen as a koala.

Some doodles I did before the model sheet.

And here are some Looney Toons gestures.

Buttons the Bird

For my final in Storyboarding class, we had to create a story based off of Ohio History and pitch it to the class using a series of beat boards. I chose to create a story about a bird named Buttons, who meets a bird named Martha.

500th Post! (I'm alive)

Well my blog's been going for a few years now and I finally reached 500. I would have loved to include a much larger post, but I've been pretty swamped with finals. Even if there haven't been updates recently, that just means there will be a large amount of updates in the next few days. I've been doing lots of work for my finals, so that will all be ready to post in the next few days.

This was a Secret Santa gift I did for Synclaire Kaptur. She requested Baymax, so this was a lot of fun to draw! :)

And these were some little Christmas presents I did for a few of my friends. I drew some of their original characters, or favorite existing characters.

Characters Through Time

The past couple of projects have involved lots of costume variations. So I chose to work with Izumi and Haru, since I haven't really developed them as much as some of my other characters. Plus my final is developing Gair, so I figured it would be a nice little teaser to start to introduce Haru.

This is Izumi, in 10 different time periods.

And this is Izumi with Haru.

Some Color Variations of Haru.

And here's his final model sheet.

These were some initial sketches I did of Haru.
